Introducing the Batsheva x Coyuchi Limited-Edition Upcycled Jacket
This Earth Month, we’re taking our commitment to circular design one step further—and into your closet.
Introducing Batsheva x Coyuchi, a limited-edition collaboration that transforms our pre-loved organic home textiles into something entirely new: a one-of-a-kind quilted jacket designed to be loved, styled and lived in again. Each jacket is handcrafted by New York-based and CFDA-member designer Batsheva Hay, known for her romantic, vintage-inspired silhouettes and inventive use of repurposed textiles.
In a world where fast fashion brands are gaining popularity and textile waste keeps growing, we wanted to offer something you can truly feel good about wearing.

Circular Living Meets Everyday Style
It all started with 2nd Home Renewed™. Through our innovative program, Coyuchi collects pre-loved home textiles that would otherwise end up in landfills. Our expert team cleans, certifies and prepares them to be sold again. But this time, instead of selling them as is, we asked New York-based designer Batsheva Hay to work her magic.
Using reclaimed organic cotton quilts, shams and sheets, Batsheva cut, sewed and reconstructed each piece by hand to design a small-batch collection of quilted jackets. Known for her romantic, vintage-inspired silhouettes, the result is a piece that’s both nostalgic and modern, with subtle variations that make each one distinct. The jacket features:
-
A shell crafted from 100% upcycled Coyuchi organic cotton quilts and shams
-
Lining made from 100% upcycled Coyuchi organic cotton percale sheets
-
A fully circular design, helping reduce textile waste
Each jacket has a classic, easy fit and thoughtful details like a peter pan collar, front snap closures and side pockets. It’s also available in two colorways.

A Shared Philosophy
For Batsheva Hay, this collaboration is a natural extension of her design ethos. A former lawyer turned fashion authority, Batsheva has dressed some of today’s most iconic celebrities. Known for her inventive use of repurposed textiles, she brings a distinct perspective to every piece—one that blends storytelling, craftsmanship and bold creativity.
For Coyuchi, it’s an opportunity to continue pushing what circularity can look like. As the first home brand to introduce a fully-circular product model, we’re always looking for ways to innovate. Our brand was built on the idea that creating high-quality, long-lasting pieces is the ultimate form of sustainability. This limited-edition, handmade jacket brings that ethos to life, and is just the beginning of many innovations Coyuchi has coming down the line.
“I’ve always been inspired by textiles that already have a history - vintage fabrics, quilted cottons, and materials that feel nostalgic but can be reimagined in a modern way,” said Batsheva Hay. “Coyuchi’s fabrics are incredibly high quality and always sustainably made, so this project was an exciting way to create something new while giving these beautiful materials another life.”
