The warmest of our down duvet inserts, the Winter Weight is soft and lofty—will keep you toasty even on the coldest nights. This comfy layer is made with pure down encased in a down-proof, 100% organic cotton shell. Stitch-through box construction keeps the fill evenly distributed, so you stay perfectly warm right down to your toes. It’s filled with the same 600-fill-power down as our Three Season duvet, but with added fill to keep you in comfort. The extra filling also means it feels heavier, which helps some people to sleep.

    Details

The Winter Weight Down Duvet Insert is a great choice if you tend to get cold when you sleep, or if you live in a very cold climate. If you sleep warm or need a layer that can work year-round, consider our Three Season Down Duvet Insert instead. It’s made with the same box-stitched, 600-fill-power pure down, but has less fill for a lighter feel. Coyuchi down duvet inserts are made in the USA and filled with double-washed down from an Indiana duck farm. Birds are humanely raised, down is carefully processed, and quality is controlled to the highest standards from start to finish.

    • Slightly oversized to lend our duvet covers an irresistibly lofty, cozy look.
    • Made in the USA.
    • Down fill is sourced in the USA; 100% organic cotton shell is imported from a GOTS certified facility in India.

      Product Care

To ensure the longevity of your down duvet and pillows, it's essential to shield them from direct contact with body oils by using a duvet cover and pillow protector.

      • Machine wash cold gentle cycle with like colors
      • Tumble dry low till overly dry (approximately 1–3 hours, depending on the efficiency of your dryer).

To further nurture your down products and our planet, consider using a plant-based detergent without bleach or whiteners, and reaching for wool dryer balls in lieu of softeners or dry sheets.

To refresh your down between laundry cycles, place them outside in fresh air and direct sunlight.
