White Buffalo Land Trust

Working in harmony with nature, WBLT utilizes the principles of regenerative agriculture to encourage the living things of the earth to thrive in their native habitats. Through education and implementation, their innovative methods support a brighter future for farming—benefiting the Earth and everyone on it.

Urban Sprouts

Through garden-based education and engagement, Urban Sprouts works to build healthy and thriving neighborhoods among the under-resourced communities of San Francisco. By removing barriers and creating pathways to health and economic equity, they lift up our neighbors, promoting social justice and climate resilience.

LYRIC promotes health and leadership among LGBTQ+ youth by hosting confidential, school-based support groups within San Francisco public schools, assisting LGBTQ+ homeless youth in finding permanent and supportive housing, and providing LGBTQ+ students with paid and scholarship-based internships.

Fibershed supports farmers and ranchers as they work to re-balance the carbon cycle. Using the Carbon Farming approach to land stewardship, these ranches fight climate change by returning more CO2 to the earth than they release.

Black Outside Inc.

Black Outside, Inc. reconnects Black/African-American youth to the outdoors natural world through transformative outdoor experiences. Their programming teaches leadership skills, while building on the rich cultural history of Black people in the outdoors. Nature inspires so much of what we do, and we want to ensure that everyone has safe and equitable access to the many benefits of being outside.

California Wilderness Coalition

CalWild is the only statewide organization solely dedicated to the protection and restoration of the wild places and native biodiversity of California’s public lands. CalWild’s campaigns are focused on identifying, designating, and defending wilderness areas and wild and scenic rivers across the state – work that keeps our air and water clean, protects wildlife, and helps to mitigate the effects of the climate crisis.
