Coyuchi is known for nature-inspired colors, amazing textures and woven and stitched details, but lately we've added printed bedding to our assortment, and we're really excited about what it brings to the mix.
Our designer, Laura Jo Wegman, wanted to bring the signature elements of Coyuchi style – an aesthetic that's delicate yet rustic, geometric yet natural – to our prints, so she broke out her brushes and hand painted art for each one.
With Laura Jo's paintings as their guide, our mill in Portugal used multiple screens to layer GOTS-certified pigments on smooth white organic percale, perfectly capturing the soft edges and translucent shading of the original watercolors.
The effect is delicate but not prim, rustic but not clunky. The patterns are geometric but not overly precise. In all their natural imperfection, these prints are perfectly Coyuchi. And they work with the rest of our assortment as if they were made for each other…because, in fact, they were.
