Care
Our linen is machine washable. We recommend machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle with like colors, with cold water and a natural, plant based laundry detergent. We do not recommend using whiteners, as bleaching agents may diminish the brilliance and depth of the colors; when needed, use only non-chlorine bleach. Line dry, or tumble dry low and remove promptly. Use a steamer as needed. Use a hot iron as needed.

Beautiful and long lasting!
I literally have had this duvet for over 10 years. I saw it in a store in Oregon and even though it was expensive I knew I had to have it. I have taken it across the country and have had compliments from others on the pattern. It is very soothing, earthy, and simply lovely. I do not understand the reviews about poor quality. I have washed it numerous times and it has stood the test of time! I love my duvet.

Like it so much, I'm getting a second!
I've had a very different experience with this than the other reviewers, apparently... I've had this duvet cover for 5 years now, with two cats (neither of whom are declawed) sleeping on it every night. I've had no breakdown or tears despite frequent washing (cold wash/med tumble dry). I love the cotton/linen combination - it's very soft and the texture of the material hides any wrinkles. The color is neutral and goes with just about any color or decor. I rotate it with another duvet cover I do not like as much, so I've decided to buy a second and rotate it with the first. I highly recommend this duvet cover.

Not good quality
I agree with the other reviewer. It looks so lovely, but didn't last long. I love Coyuchi bedding, but not this one.

disappointed
I love the look and feel of this duvet cover. We got the double/queen size and it's definitely a little small for a queen size bed. I can live with that, but unfortunately it hasn't stood up to the test of time. We bought the duvet cover and matching shams a few years ago. Unfortunately, the weave of the cotton and linen pattern creates weak lines where the two materials are attached and it's developed small tears along those lines over the years. We've taken good care of the duvet, washing in cold water and line drying or gentle heat drying. I've repaired a lot of the tears, but it's just getting worse.

Not well made, torn apart after a few wash
It is not durable. The linen is too thin and started to tear apart after a few wash.
I will never ever spend this much money again for such a poor quality product.
