All of our organic cotton products are machine washable. We recommend machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle with like colors, with cold water and a natural, plant based laundry detergent. We do not recommend using whiteners, as bleaching agents may diminish the brilliance and depth of the colors; when needed, use only non-chlorine bleach.

We recommend machine washing our wool blankets on the wool cycle with cold water and mild liquid detergent; do not bleach. Air-dry flat; do not wring or twist. Do not put in dryer; heat can damage wool fibers. Store wool blankets in a tightly sealed bin or heavy plastic bag to protect against pests; add cedar chips for extra protection.
Down & Feather/Down
A down duvet will last many years if cared for properly. Always protect your duvet and pillows from direct contact with body oils by using a duvet cover and pillow protector. Launder no more than once every two to three years unless there is obvious soiling; more frequent washing will shorten the life of your duvet and pillows. Machine wash in an oversized machine without a center agitator, using warm water and mild detergent on the delicate cycle. Check seams and fabric before washing; if weakness is evident, do not home launder. In order to fully dry the down clusters and to prevent mildew from forming, thoroughly dry on low heat well beyond the point when the outer fabric feels dry (approximately 3–4 hours).

These are by far the best sheets we've ever owned. They do sleep a bit warm in the summer, since sateen does tend to hold heat. Not a major issue by any means. They wash and dry beautifully. They are lightweight and you can just feel the high quality.
Will purchase more of these. Highly recommend.

Disappointed with quality of second set
First, let me say that my husband and I have a set of the sateen sheets in the natural ivory color, and they are amazing. We also have a number of other coyuchi items and have generally been satisfied with the quality. We are committed to making organic choices whenever possible, and Coyuchi seemed to fit the bill. However, when my older son got to be big enough for his first real bed recently, we knew we wanted to get him organic sheets for his organic latex mattress. We loved our Coyuchi sateen sheets so much that we wanted to get the same for him. He picked out the cerulean color, which happened to be on sale (we would have bought them either way as that was his favorite color). We bought paint to match and decorated his whole room around his new bedding. After the first wash, the color started washing out in patches. Now, several washes in, his beautiful new bedding looks all splotchy and discolored. I am so disappointed, and even though we have purchased Coyuchi sheets, mattress protectors, down pillows, comforters, etc in the past, I am extremely hesitant to purchase ever again. For what it's worth, we use Charlie's laundry soap, and have never had problems like this with anything in the past. Very disappointed.

I purchased a set of these sheets online from One King's Lane. I'd been longing for a set of Coyuchi sheets for a long time, so when they appeared on sale I snapped them up. They were not advertised as seconds, but I think this must have been the case. Otherwise, it would be difficult to explain the poor quality of the product.
The pillow cases are excessively long and so poorly sewn that they can't even be folded corner to corner. The sewn-in fold on these supposedly standard size cases is nowhere near the end of the pillow, so is useless in keeping the case in place. As a result, you end up with a face full of bunched up fabric while sleeping. The same is true of the sheets - neither was cut on the bias, and have a distinct and unattractive twist. After reading the description of the fabric on this website, I also suspect that this set was sewn inside out. The fabric is not silky or lustrous as sateen sheets should be, but matte. It pilled after washing.
Again, I don't know for sure if I was duped into buying seconds by One King's Lane, or if this lack of quality is typical. Either way, the price I paid was way too much for what I received, and I will be highly reluctant to buy Coyuchi again.
