All of our cotton and linen products are machine washable. For whites and light colors: We recommend machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle with warm water and non-phosphate soap. For dark colors: We recommend machine washing on gentle or delicate cycle with cold water and non-phosphate soap. Line dry, or tumble dry low and remove promptly. Use a warm iron on cotton, or a hot iron on linen, as needed. We do not recommend using whiteners as bleaching agents may diminish the brilliance and depth of the colors; when needed, use only non-chlorine bleach. Please refer to the product tag for more specific instructions.

I use mine as a scarf!
To be honest, I don't have children ... but I read somewhere that you can use these as scarves and it's true! I have the grey and tangerine ones - kept one for myself and gifted one for my sister. I have also purchased the orchid ones for my sister-in-law also for use as a scarf. They are beautifully made and are super soft, so if I had a baby, I'd feel great about wrapping them up like little burritos in these! I googled swaddle cloths and found the price to be comparable to most companies that offer GOTS certified organic cotton swaddles for babies. I think the prints and the colors set these apart from the obvious 'baby' options out there. That's my two cents!
