Herringbone Organic Wool Blanket

Online Exclusive

Coyuchi has been creating beautiful, luxurious bedding from sustainable, natural fibers for more than 20 years. So, when we set out to create an organic wool blanket, it's only natural that we'd want it to be the softest, lushest, most exquisitely crafted blanket imaginable.

First, we sourced Merino wool—among the world's finest and softest— from a ranch in Argentine Patagonia that raises healthy sheep using traditional methods, rather than spraying them with insecticides and other chemicals. The wool they produce is pure, organic and of the highest quality.

Then, to weave our blanket, we turned to Brahm's Mount, an American company that crafts extraordinary textiles with natural fibers and earth-friendly finishing – a kindred spirit in a small, riverside town in southern Maine. Using antique shuttle looms that require great skill and hands-on attention, the master weavers at Brahm's Mount crafted our organic Merino wool into a blanket so lusciously soft, so deliciously drapey that it could easily be mistaken for cashmere.

Lofty and breathable, loomed in a refined herringbone pattern and drenched in rich, gorgeous color, this is a blanket you'll love year-round. Organic wool ensures it's healthy for you and for the planet, and heirloom quality ensures it will last for generations of cozy nights, bedtime stories and sweet dreams to come.

Made in Maine, from 100% organic Merino wool.

Wonderful to use
I absolutely love this blanket...and if my inheritors were aware of its existence I might come to untimely end...uh, just kidding. Too sorry I didn't own this decades ago. As a knitter myself, although strictly amateur, I know enough to be in awe of this blanket.

Incredible blanket
I love Brahms Mount and when I saw they were partnering with Coyuchi, I had to splurge. I have the tangerine color. The wool is so fine and soft, it's hard to believe it is wool! Will hang onto this blanket for years to come. Thanks Coyuchi!
